Books with no romances
Now a huge part of the reader community enjoys reading books that have some form of romance involved. But what about the other half? That’s where we come in! Today we will list our top 3 books which have no form of romance in the plot and yet continue to appeal to the readers just as much!
1. Nimona Author: Noelle Stevenson
This is a graphic novel and is based on a webcomic. The book has all that you can imagine. It's perfect for everyone- science lovers to people to love dragons.
The book revolves around Nimona. She is a young shapeshifter. Lord Baliister Blackheart acts as the villain with a vendetta to the plot. It was their mission to prove to the kingdom that Sir Ambrosius Goldenloin and his mates weren’t actually the heroes everyone thought they were.
With time as this movement escalates to a battle, Blackheart is struck with the realisation that Nimona’s powers resonate with her murky and mysterious past. And nothing was predictable anymore.
2. Challenger Deep Author: Neal Shusterman
The Caden Bosch is on a ship that is going to go towards the Challenger Deep i.e. the deepest point on Earth in the southern parts of the Mariana Trench.
He is only in high school but is indeed brilliant. His friends find his recent behaviour to be unlike him, odd. He is designated the ship's artist in order to document his entire journey in form of images.
Bosch is unable to decide which stood higher- his allegiance to the captain or the calling of mutiny.
Author: James Dashner
The book revolves around Micheal who is a gamer. He like most gamers spends most of his time on the VirtNet, which offers total mind and body immersion and is extremely addictive. It was thanks to technology and money that one ould experience fantasy or even just hand out with their Virt-friends. Not to forget, the more hacking skills you possess, more the fun.
Most of the time we forget, some technologies are too dangerous to be fooling around with. There had been a report floating around that a gamer was holding other gamers hostage inside the VirtNet, which had caused the hostages to be declared brain dead.
The government needed to catch that hacker and to catch one you need one. Micheal.
How do things turn out in the end?

This book revolves around Mason who has never known his father. He treasured his only keepsake of his father, a DVD of a man whose face is never seen who is reading a children’s book.
One day when he plays the DVD for some teenagers at a nursing home, a girl responds to him and says how she was a part of a horrible experiment that was intended to render teenagers into autotrophs. Autotrophs who were engineered genetically, who led a self-sustaining life and did not need food or water to survive.
Time flew by and without realising, Mason was on a run with the girl who was wanted dead or alive by the mastermind of this entire plan-the Gardener.
