A Court of Thorns and Roses series

Sarah J Mass is infamous for her various series which the reader’s community has loved and adored. The most popular ones are the “Court of Thorns and Roses” series. This is a four-book series which has been received exceptionally well by people. I am sure a lot of people wish to know more about the series and what they can expect as they go through this series. Let us all find out together!

[Advised age group: 16 years and above]

Feyre depends solely on her ability to hunt and kill. She lives in a forest which is cold, with long winter months. Spotting a wolf perusing a deer, she finds the urge of fighting for the deer’s flesh irresistible urge. It wasn’t an easy feat to kill the wolf, and to be killing a wolf in itself came at a price.

Having killed the wolf she was dragged into a magical kingdom where she discovers her captor. His face is obscured with a mask but the only thing that shows is his green eyes piercing into her. Feyre is closely guarded and her hopes of escaping seem to waver away. Over time Feyre’s feelings for her captor turn from hostility to something far more dangerous.

Having gone through more trials than one human woman could ever carry in their heart, she has been granted the power and the lifespan of a High Fae. However, she is still haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deed she had performed to save the lives of the Tamlin and his people.

Her marriage to Tamlin was approaching but her nightmares yet continued. She was finding it harder. as she found herself becoming split into two different people - one who wanted to maintain her bargain with Rhysand and the other who lived out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin. Bound by politics, we follow her along as she finds her way out of this web within which evil looms.

This begins with Feyre’s return to the Spring Court. She is determined to get information on Tamlin and his actions. She desperately wanted to do something about the invading king who threatened to bring her land to its knees. But it wasn’t easy. She had to play a murderous game of deceit to be successful in achieving this. One wrong step and everything she held dear would be under major threat.

As the war broke, Feyre wished to take her place among the High Fae of the land. She had not yet mastered her powers. Her struggle to master her both magical and political powers along with her love for the court and her family is well portrayed in this book.

Feyre, Rhysand and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court, recovering from the war took time. But the Winter Solstice was approaching and so was the joy of the hard-earned reprieve. Shadows of the past, however, loomed on. This would be Feyre’s first Winter Solstice as the High Lady. Her concerns for her dearest deepened, they were far more wounded than what she had expected. These wounds were to impact the far future of the court, how?

We hope you now know what you can expect from this series and are looking forward to reading it. If you have already read these books, let us know how you liked them!

Thanks a lot for reading!
